O Perigo de Pregadores Evangélicos Conservadores

Com a onda da direita passando por sobre o Brasil, também vem o perigo de vibrarmos com líderes evangélicos instituindo a nova moralidade. Tenhamos em mente o seguinte texto da profetisa Ellen G. White:

🇧🇷 Cada homem é provado, como foram Adão e Eva no Éden. Assim como a árvore do conhecimento foi colocada no meio do jardim do Éden, assim o mandamento do sábado é colocado no meio do decálogo. Com respeito à fruta da árvore do conhecimento, a seguinte restrição foi feita, “Não comereis dele, … para que vocês não morram.” O sábado, disse Deus, não violareis, mas o santificareis. “Lembra-te do dia do sábado para o santificar.” Assim como a árvore do conhecimento foi o teste da obediência de Adão, assim o quarto mandamento é o teste que Deus deu para provar a lealdade de todo o Seu povo. A experiência de Adão é uma advertência para nós enquanto o tempo durar. Nos adverte a não receber qualquer segurança da boca de homens ou anjos que subtraiam um jota ou til da sagrada lei de Jeová. 🇺🇸 Every man has been placed on trial, as were Adam and Eve in Eden. As the tree of knowledge was placed in the midst of the garden of Eden, so the Sabbath command is placed in the midst of the decalogue. In regard to the fruit of the tree of knowledge, the restriction was made, “Ye shall not eat of it, … lest ye die.” Of the Sabbath, God said, Ye shall not defile it, but keep it holy. “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” As the tree of knowledge was the test of Adam’s obedience, so the fourth command is the test that God has given to prove the loyalty of all his people. The experience of Adam is to be a warning to us so long as time shall last. It warns us not to receive any assurance from the mouth of men or of angels that will detract one jot or tittle from the sacred law of Jehovah. – {RH August 30, 1898 Par. 13}
